The No-Waste® Wall by HERSO is a circular wall cladding system produced from post-consumer wood streams. Reclaimed timber is reprocessed into interior wall panels, giving previously used wood a renewed function as a decorative and architectural surface.
Each panel measures 1500 × 200 mm with a thickness of 13–13.5 mm. The construction consists of a 4.5 mm No-Waste® top layer bonded to an FSC-certified backing board using formaldehyde-free adhesive. The visual appearance varies depending on the composition of the reclaimed wood supply, resulting in natural differences in colour tones, wood species and hardness. Softer and lighter wood types that are less suitable for flooring applications are specifically utilised for the wall elements .
The wall system is suitable for use in combination with wall heating. The stated thermal resistance (RC value) ranges between 0.080 and 0.095 W/m²K, depending on wood type and configuration . Indoor relative humidity should be maintained between 50% and 75%, and for larger surface areas the use of a V-groove around each panel is recommended.
Panels are supplied either finished or unfinished and can be installed by a carpenter or contractor of choice. Prior to installation, indoor humidity levels should be measured using a hygrometer . Lead times average 12 to 16 weeks and depend on the availability, volume and moisture content (10–12%) of the incoming reclaimed timber. Delivery takes place from the workshop in Loosbroek, palletised for transport.
The No-Waste® Wall is FSC® certified (group member certificate code CU-COC-828395-HA) and is produced by HERSO, a circular wood processor .
